BHS Italian classes visit Boston’s MFA

img_0740After learning about the medieval, renaissance and baroque styles, the Italian IV classes examined paintings from those periods with the help of an MFA museum teacher. Italian V, instead, focused on Impressionism and the art periods that followed it in the modern era, after stopping in the three areas dedicated to impressionist painters, students and their guide visited the modern wing of the museum.  After the museum visit, students and their chaperones went to the North End for lunch, many ending the day with a treat from Mike’s Pastry.
