The French Club had such a wonderful time of getting better acquainted at our excursion to both the MFA and the Isabella Stewart Gardner museums. We enjoyed viewing the French Impressionist artwork and got to check out the rooms at the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. Edwidge Danticat, an author of one of our French III memoirs, Behind the Mountains, spent a month at this museum as she wrote this novel. We had lunch at <<Au Bon Pain>>. Some of us even got to indulge in rich <<ganache>> frosting as we headed to the Georgetown Cupcakes for dessert.
