Day 2 of National Foreign Language Week began with a wonderful brunch event that was spearheaded by Burlington High School’s Period 2 World Language classes. Students in Señora Dacey, Profe De Sousa, Señorita Walton, Magister Stringer, Signora Hoerle, Signora Gentile and Madame Price’s French, Italian, Latin and Spanish classes prepared authentic dishes from various countries throughout Europe and Latin America. All Period 2 language classes met in the cafeteria, displayed their foods, and socialized with peers while tasting the various dishes presented. Students did an amazing job researching a variety of foods and describing the recipe and its ingredients in both written and oral format. A huge thank you to all students that participated in yesterday’s celebration of National Foreign Language Week!
