Cake off event – Day 1

This Thursday, the Foreign Language Department hosted a ‘Cake off’ event as we continue to celebrate National Foreign Language Week.  Students in our Italian and Spanish classes designed a total of 20 cakes (10 Spanish themed cakes and 10 Italian themed cakes). Tomorrow, the French and Latin students will challenge each other to design the best themed cake!  The goal was to create a design that represented a cultural or historical aspect of the perspective language.

Throughout the day, BHS faculty and staff voted on their favorite cake design.  The winner of the Italian/Spanish Cake off was a Spanish student’s submission.  Congratulations to Señora Abbott’s student!
